For US Citizen

Post by Admin on 24.07.16 8:39

We just got our Visas for Uzbekistan and we did not need the letter of invitation. We went to the Consulate Office in NY. We are going on a tour in the middle of September into October so we brought a copy of our itinerary, a copy of our passport page, a copy of our airline tickets, our passports, a photo, the application, and a certified check for US $160. We also submitted a prepaid return Fed Ex envelope. All our papers were returned to us and the Visa was in our passports. By the way, we needed a double entry Visa and it was the same price. We also were worried about doing this so far in advance but it was not an issue. Not an expert on this but this was our experience this June 2016. Hope this helps.

Make sure you fill out the form online and then print it - for some reason they dislike handwritten forms.

I applied by mail via NYC Consulate and they proceded the day after they received my visa form and passport. 70 US for 23 days visa (I was asking for 2 weeks..) + LOI (Stantours about 75US)+1 photo+ return enveloppe.
